Reviews
Part of the museum was closed, but it was interesting nonetheless. Takes you through a historical timeline of the company and their products, finishing off with a store that sells Ritter Sport for a ridiculously low price (especially compared to Canada). Unique architecture with colourful glass accents, connected to a large park.
We visited on a Sunday, and were pleasantly surprised with how many aspects of the Museum were still open. They were preparing a new exhibition when we were there, so one side of the building was closed. Nevertheless, there was still a decent amount of history to read through. May activities for younger kids too that keep their interest. Free samples of chocolate and of raw cocoa beans. The chocolate store on the first floor has some good sales on discounted merchandise.
Great art museum/gallery with two exhibitions annually. Tasteful personal collections from the third generation Ritter family.
It has a great restaurant with fab menu of traditional southern German food and tons of different cakes!
Museum which is divided by central passage. This central passage is linked to the park. Becaus of this, the space is too small for the exhibition i think. It makes the foam of the building. This building designed by Max dudler.
Especially, ths exhibition about peter weber is amazing artworks. Thx:)
The contemporary art museum is worth it, but not the chocolate face-washing museum.
The cafeteria was nice and the whole staff very kind
The museum is free and has the interactive history of Ritter. They give out free squares of their different chocolates as well. Downstairs is the chocolate shop that has every type of chocolate, to include seasonal varieties, that they produce. If you have time, I recommend having breakfast or lunch at the cafe. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The ice coffee is particularly delicious.
The museum was good but i went for the chocolate store which was not that good. You can get these chocolates in your nearby store too. They did a little bit of stacking and packaging. They did not offer at cheaper rates.
Very good and lot of chocolates to choose from. But I found a little bit expensive.
